Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of QRCR.us (the "Service"). By signing in or purchasing scan credits, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What the Service does
QRCR.us generates QR codes that encode short URLs on our domain. When scanned, a code redirects to a destination URL you control and can change at any time. We record scan events (time, referrer, user agent) and show them to you.
2. Accounts
You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for all activity under it, including every link it creates and where those links point. Accounts are limited to a fixed number of active links, shown on your dashboard.
3. Credits, payments, and refunds
Scans are paid for with prepaid credits. Each new link redirects free for an initial window (currently 24 hours); after that, one credit is consumed per scan. When your balance reaches zero, your links pause — visitors see a "link paused" page until you top up. Paused links resume automatically when credits are added; nothing is deleted.
All credit purchases are final. We do not offer refunds, in whole or in part, including for unused credits, paused or deleted links, accounts terminated for violating these terms, or dissatisfaction with the Service. Credits never expire, are tied to the purchasing account, and cannot be transferred, resold, or redeemed for cash.
Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Prices and pack sizes may change at any time — changes never affect credits you already hold.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to link to or promote: anything illegal, phishing or credential harvesting, malware, deceptive or misleading redirects, spam, or content that infringes others' rights. We may disable any link or account that we reasonably believe violates this section, without notice and without refund.
5. Availability and disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We work to keep redirects fast and available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Destination content belongs to the link owner, not to us; a QRCR.us short URL is not an endorsement of what it points to.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or costs of reprinting physical materials.
7. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your links at any time; unused credits are not refunded. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. If we ever discontinue the Service entirely, we will make reasonable efforts to give notice in advance.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always at this page with its effective date above. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
